Troubleshooting the integration

Common errors

  • The API user isn't activated in LISA.

  • The API user need to have the right privileges in LISA.

  • Not getting any participants or only a subset of the ones in the campaign when importing to Lime-Marketing?

    • Persons are filtered based on approved consent type if the campaign has a consent type configured.
    • Persons with the hard bounce or total opt out check box set will be excluded.
    • Persons with faulty and duplicate email addresses are excluded.
    • If the solution has Object Access make sure the Newsletter API User is a member the correct groups to actually have access to the persons.
  • Make sure that you're able to save the configuration in the webclient. It will display possible errors in your configuration.

  • If the integration works but you're unable to fetch campaign participants there might be an error in the participant import fields.

  • Make sure that you have the right URL to your endpoint.

  • Make sure that the Lime CRM webclient is accessible from the Newsletter IPs.

  • Make sure these requirements are met for on-premise Lime environments.

  • In version 2.1.0 and lower the emailhardbounce field will not be set due to a bug.

  • Have you restarted the web server after installing updated version of lime-newsletter?

If you're running Newsletter on-prem you can always see the error messages in the webserver log file, and for cloud customers in Kibana.

Before contacting the Marketing Tech team for further support make sure you know what version if the integration you're running and if it's an on-prem or cloud customer.
